Kuala Lumpur: A full transcript of the communications between missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 and the control tower in Kuala Lumpur was released by the Malaysian government on Tuesday.
According to the conversation transcript recovered, there was nothing abnormal or unusual which could raise doubt.
Defense and Transport minister Hishammudin Hussein stated that there was no indication of anything abnormal in the transcript.
The most significant finding in the transcript is an update on what was initially believed to be the final words transmitted from the missing plane: “Good night Malaysian three seven zero” — not “all right, good night” as previously reported.
The transport ministry is working to confirm who spoke the final words, and whether it was the pilot or co-pilot as suspected.
The Australian authorities handling the search operations of missing Malaysia Airlines jet took a major step to find the Boeing 777 plane. They have deployed a Boeing 737 which will act as a flying air traffic controller over the Indian Ocean.
The flying air traffic controller will help in preventing mid air collision between the air planes helping in the search operations.
The Malaysian Airlines flight MH 370 went missing on March 8, 2014 with 239 passengers on board including crew members. The plane was flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing when it vanished.
On Tuesday, 11 planes and 9 ships were involved in the search operation of MH 370.
