Mumbai Shocker: Father beats son to death for not attending school

Thane: A dreadful incident that sent shock waves across the region, a 10-year old boy was beaten to death by his father for not attending school, as per a PTI report. Ajit Majid Khan, who has five wives, was arrested today morning by the police. Khan who resides in Ambernath township in Thane district was anguished with his son as he was not attending school for the past many days. The boy died of injuries in the way to Thane Civil hospital, where he was taken to after beating by his neighbors. The man has been booked under section 302 (murder) of the IPC.
