TWIST IN MEERUT GANG RAPE: Madrasa teacher underwent surgery to prevent pregnancy

Meerut: In a twist in the Meerut gang rape case, medical report reveals that fallopian tubes of the madrasa teacher were removed in a surgery last month to make sure that she does not conceive in future. Reports say that she was operated upon for ectopic pregnancy – complication arising due to growth of foetus outside the uterus. The 20-year-old madrasa teacher was allegedly abducted, gang raped and forcibly converted to Islam said in a statement to police that she was operated in a hospital Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar area last month. She reportedly bears stitch marks on her stomach. She recorded her statement before a judicial magistrate Neetu Yadav yesterday and said that she “escaped” from the madrasa where she was kept along with many others like her. Meanwhile, cops have arrested three people in connection with the case named by her – Samar Jahan and her daughter Nishaat and Mohd Nawab. The fourth accused she named – Salalullah is absconding. The complainant filed by victim’s father alleged that his daughter was abducted on July 23 and was taken to a madrasa where she was gangraped and was confined illegally. She was also forcefully made to sign some papers related to religious conversion. Some reports say that the teacher’s claims that other Hindu women were held captive in the madrasa were found to be false. The maulvi of the madrasa has told cops that the woman came to him voluntarily to be converted to Islam. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav has promised a CBI probe into the matter. "Senior officers have been asked to keep a vigil. Law and order cannot be compromised with," said Yadav
