Minor gang raped, thrown on railway tracks in

Meerut: Amid the major tension erupted after the religion conversion of a madarsa teacher, another incident of gang rape with a minor came into limelight. The recent incident is reported from Kankar Khera district where a minor was abducted, gang raped and then thrown on the railway tracks. According to the victim, the crime was carried out by two men from her neighbourhood. The family members told the police that the incident took place on Sunday when 15 years old victim went to the market located near the house. They started searching for her when she didn’t return home. Later, they found her unconscious on the railway tracks near Cantt station. The family lodged a complaint on late Tuesday night at the Kankar Khera police station. The police are searching for the culprits. The victim alleges two youths, Waseem and Idrish from her neighbourhood behind this crime. They abducted her on a motorcycle and took her to a deserted place. They beat her when she opposed rape. The accused threatened her that if she complained to the police, they would kill her and her family members. Victim's family members said that they did not inform the police earlier but lodged a complaint when the girl's condition began to deteriorate.
