Peshawar explosion kills four cops amid six

PESHAWAR: Six persons including four policemen were killed and several sustained injuries in an explosion followed by firing at Sulemankhel of Badaber area in the outskirts here on Monday, Geo News reported. Police said that the explosion targeted a function being held regarding polio campaign near a dispensary at Sulemankhel of Badaber area and a heavy firing followed the explosion. Peshawar SSP Operation confirmed the death of six persons including four policemen and two Razakars. The injured have been shifted to the city hospital, some 20 kilometers away from the scene of incident. Sources said that the bomb disposal squad has been called and the area has been cleared of the people fearing another unexploded bomb over there.
