Explosion in Peshawar kills seven, injures 20

PESHAWAR: A blast outside a hotel in the Qissa Khwani area of Pehsawar on Tuesday evening killed at least seven people and injured over 20 others, Express News reported. According to initial details, the blast took place outside Pak hotel in Kocha-e-Risaldar. An Imambargah is also located in the same vicinity. Express News correspondent Faizan Hussain said that at least two people had reportedly been killed and 20 others were injured as a result of the blast. Emergency services and law enforcement personnel are responding to the incident. Officials have cordoned off the blast site. The injured have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital for treatment. There was no immediate information about the nature of the blast.
