Jets pound militant hideouts in North Waziristan, 27 killed

MIRANSHAH: At least 27 militants were killed as Pakistani fighter jets pounded their hideouts in North Waziristan in the wee hours of Tuesday, Geo News reported. Sources said the security forces launched action in various areas of North Waziristan including Miranshah and targeted several hideouts of the militants. Sources added that 27 suspected militants were killed in the bombing. An important centre of the militants was also destroyed in the attack in Shawal area. There are reports of action in South Waziristan as well.
