Taliban leadership makes contact with Prof. Ibrahim

PESHAWAR: Member Taliban committee, Professor Ibrahim says it seems the government and army have decided to launch an operation which will result in the death of thousands. In an exclusive interview to Geo News, Professor Ibrahim said an operation in the tribal areas will lead to a mass exodus. Professor Ibrahim added he had been contacted by the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leadership and they still wanted result oriented dialogue with the government. According to the Professor Ibrahim, the government follows the constitution while Taliban follow Quran and Sunnah. He said contact with the government team was only through TV channels.
