Explosion in Quetta; over 20 injured

QUETTA: Over 20 people were injured in a loud explosion near the Science College chowk in Quetta on Friday, DawnNews reported. The explosion took place in a bus en route from the city's Sariab road which caught fire as a result. Quetta is the capital of Balochistan province which has seen an upswing in violence in recent months and is suffering from a separatist insurgency, sectarian violence and Taliban militants.
