Mumbai police comes to Aamir Khan's rescue as actor files complaint against social networking sites

After showing the plight of policemen on his much-celebrated television show Satyameva Jayate, this Sunday, Aamir Khan ironically, has now seeked Mumbai police help. He has filed a complaint against a spread campaign against him on famous social networking sites which aim at staining his reputation. An enquiry has already started post filing the complaint. As per the sources, the reigning superstar met Joint Police Commissioner (Crime) Sadanand Date at Mumbai Police Headquarters on Sunday and explained him about the messages spread to tarnish his image. “Aamir Khan complained to us about some objectionable messages getting circulated (against him). Preliminary enquiry is on. Aamir is likely to share more details with us tomorrow,” Sadanand told a leading news agency. The actor has claimed that the messages accuse him of seeking donations on Satyameva Jayate. Aamir rubbishes such allegations and is expecting a complete support from police as far as investigation is concerned. At the same time, the 48-year-old superstar has also, demanded an explanation from these micro-blogging sites.
