Musharraf will be discharged from AFIC sometime today

ISLAMABAD: The special court constituted for the treason trial of former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf will announce its decision on his counsel’s plea to allow his client to travel abroad after 2:00 PM today (Monday). Earlier before going on break, the court indicted Pervez Musharraf in the high treason trial and a six-point charge sheet was read to him which the accused Pervez Musharraf denied. During the hearing, Barrister Farogh Nasim, who has replaced the previous counsel team of Pervez Musharraf, made submissions before the court that his client’s mother was seriously ill in Dubai and he also wanted to visit the US for treatment of his own cardiac problem and prayed that he may be allowed to go abroad.
