Sachin Tendulkar touches Lata Mangeshkar’s feet, Lata gives him the token of her love

The bond between the God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar and Nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar cannot be described in a few words. While Sachin addresses Lata as Maa or Didi, Lata never falls short of praising Master Blaster Sachin whom she prefers calling her son. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray united the two Bharat Ratnas at his residence on Sunday which turned out to be the most memorable evening for the three of them. Sachin was accompanied by his better-half Anjali Tendulkar and the two took the blessings of the legendary singer at the do. Lata presented Sachin with a frame of her handwritten hits 'Tu jahan jahan chalega' and 'Piya tose naina lage re' as a token of her love on the occasion. Sachin also returned the favour by gifting her a t-shirt with “Respected Lata Didi, Thanks for the love and blessings, Warmest Regards, Sachin Tendulkar” written on it.
