1 soldier killed, 2 injured in Peshawar gun attack

PESHAWAR: A soldier was killed and two others sustained injuries in a gun attack in the outskirts of Peshawar, Express News reported on Friday. According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), an army convoy was patrolling near Aziz Market on Frontier Road when suspected militants opened fire on them. Army personnel retaliated but the attackers managed to escape soon after the incident. The injured were shifted to a hospital for medical assistance.
