SHOCKING: Chhattisgarh woman beaten up, clothes torn off in public over alleged illicit relationship

Jashpur: A 28-year-old woman was openly beaten up in public over alleged illicit relationship. Her clothes were torn off while she shouted for help. The incident happened in Jashpur district's Menderbahar village. When this brutal act was being performed, the woman was running through the streets of village to save herself but nobody came forward to help her. The incident happened on Saturday evening around 7'O clock. The people accused of performing this act include some women of the village and a man named Nandlal Lohar. It is being said that the woman had illicit relationship with Lohar. When the husband of the woman came to save her, the people beat him up as well.

Being shocked by the incident, the woman along with her husband and children stayed at the home of woman vice head of the village. Thereafter, they filed a complaint in the police station. The police have not arrested anyone in this case yet. The victim and her husband said that they were beaten up without any valid reason. The husband of the vice head of the village has also supported their statement. He said that the woman came to their home after the incident and he brought them to police station afterwards. The in charge of the substation J Akka said that they are probing the incident and that the police have recorded the statements of both the sides.

On Saturday evening, the neighbour of the victim Saniyaro Bai along with her husband, mother-in-law and 15 villagers reached her home. They pushed her out from her home and started beating her. They also tear off her clothes. To save herself from the monsters, the woman started running nude in the village. Other than beating the woman, the accused also insulted the woman. Saniyaro Bai and her sister-in-law Parvati have accepted that they beat the woman. Saniyaro has alleged that her husband Lohar and the victim were in a love relationship because of which she had been having fights with her husband every day. The victim is the mother of three. The accused Nandlal said that if the victim wants, she is ready to make her his second wife. The victim and Nandlal used to work in a private company together.
