Thane: Kidnappers murder 12-year-old boy, father identifies chopped off body parts

Thane: On April 17, a 12-year-old boy was kidnapped in Kalyan city of Thane district. Parents of the victim lodged a complaint. Later, the boy’s father Uttambhai Gucchali, 39, a jeweller, received a call for ransom of Rs. 50 lakh. Boy’s parents were trying to find ways to get back their son. But, a couple of days back police recovered chopped off legs at Givindwadi flower market. The ossification test revealed that the body parts belong to a male aged around 12. The boy’s father identified his son’s body parts. On Sunday, some other body parts were recovered from the drain. Bazarpeth police, which was investigating the case, said four suspected killers of the boy had been identified and efforts were on to nab them.
