Woman accused of blackmailing BJP leader Jeetendra Singh over adult CD arrested by Delhi police

Jaipur/Delhi: The woman blackmailing BJP leader and Rajasthan Engineering College for Woman's chairman Jeetendra Singh Faujdar over adult CD was arrested by Delhi Police on Saturday. The police arrested the woman with Rs. 40 lakh and the mediocre Arun Kothari who broke the deal between the BJP leader and her. The accused woman Meenakshi along with her husband Sandeep was blackmailing Jeetendra. The police nabbed the woman at Arun's home where Jeetendra had called up the woman for collecting first installment of Rs. 40 lakh. As soon as BJP leader Jeetender handed over the money to Meenakshi and Arun, the police caught them while Sandeep managed to escape from the spot.
The accused woman and Arun were brought to Delhi after arrest. Jeetendra Singh is a resident of Prashant Vihar in Delhi where he had filed the case of blackmailing against the woman. Both the accused were taken to Vidhayakpuri police station. After CJM Bharat Gupta was denied the transit remand for the accused, he was instructed to present them in the Delhi court. Thereafter, the police team along with Meenakshi and Arun left for Delhi. Jeetendra Singh said that Meenakshi was running a beauty parlour at college campus from past 4 years where he met her. He said that in September 2013, Meenakshi along with her husband Sandeep and another person Manjeet Singh made his bogus adult CD. He told that they started blackmailing him afterwards and asked for Rs. 10 crore.
He said that last year, Meenakshi's husband also tried to file a rape case against him in the Sodala police station but stepped back after he was paid Rs. 5 lakh and continued asking for Rs. 10 crore. After being fed up of the blackmailing, Jeetendra filed a complaint in Prashant Vihar located police station. On the other hand, to cut a deal between Jeetendra and Meenakshi, jeweller Arun became the mediocre. Earlier the accused woman and her husband asked for Rs. 5 crore but later agreed to accept Rs. 2 crore and 5 lakh. The woman came to collect rRs 40 lakh on Saturday as first installment. The woman along with Sandeep came to collect the money from Arun's home. She went inside the house while Sandeep waited in the car. Thereafter, the police managed to catch Meenakshi and Arun while Sandeep fled from the scene.
