Aashiqui 2 singer Ankit Tiwari arrested for allegedly raping his girlfriend

Aashiqui 2 singer Ankit Tiwari, who will also be giving his voice in upcoming film ‘Ek Villain’, is said to have been in custody of the Versova Police, Mumbai, following allegations of rape. His brother Ankur Tiwari is also under custody. Reportedly, the victim is Ankit's girlfriend. An entertainment website reported, the charge on Ankit Tiwari is that he had promised to marry his girlfriend and didn't keep up his promise.
