Amethi: The polling has begun in Amethi where Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, BJP’s Smriti Irani and AAP’s Kumar Vishwas are in fray and the political drama doesn’t seem to end soon.
While Rahul became furious with the lotus symbol on blackboard at one of the polling booths, Irani poured her anger over the secretary of Priyanka Gandhi.
Rahul Gandhi couldn’t control his anger when he saw a lotus drawn on the blackboard at one of the polling booths as it is the election symbol of main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party.
He immediately said that Congress is going to complain about it to the poll panel so that appropriate measures are taken.
On the other hand, the BJP candidate Irani accused Congress workers of triggering a brawl with BJP workers in Jagdishpur.
“Jo neech rajniti ki baat karte hain unhe beta dein ki unke karyakarta Kaima booth Jagdishpur mein maar peet kar rahe hai,” she wrote on her Twitter handle.
She also expressed her anger over Priyanka Gandhi’s secretary saying that despite being an outsider, the secretary opposed the presence of BJP leader at Thuri polling booth.
Irani tweeted, “Smt Vadra's secretary Priti Sahay at Thouri not a local still vocal in opposing my presence at the booth.”
On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party has already complained to the Election Commission regarding the convoy of Rahul Gandhi. AAP complained that Rahul is roaming around with a convoy of 15 cars on the polling day. Kumar Vishwas also alleged that polling booths are being rigged in Amethi.
