Modi as PM: Know about how much he will draw as salary and other details!

New Delhi: Now, when it’s clear BJP led NDA is forming government and Narendra Modi will be the next prime minister of the country, here are some interesting facts everyone should know. Post May 21, when Modi’s oath ceremony as next Prime Minister of the country is scheduled, his office will bear a new address. Outside Gujarat, his office would be situated at South Block, room number 151 near Raisina Hill. His house address will be 7, Race Course Road. His security would also get a major touch up and his salary will also see a substantial hike. In short, Modi’s life will undergo a major changeover.
Modi will be drawing Rs. 1.6 lakh salary in capacity of Prime Minister. It will include 50,000 as basic salary, 3,000 sumptuary allowance, 62,000 daily allowance and 45,000 as MP allowance. Other than this, he will be provided a government residence, personal staff, special jet and various other perks. Details about PM’s salary were known in form of an answer to an RTI query filed in 2012. His official residence at New Delhi located 7 Race Course Road is an area spread over 12 acres which includes 5 bungalows. 7 Race Course constitutes 1,3,5,7 and 9 number bungalows. Modi’s security needs would be taken care up by both the Gujarat police and National Security Guards (NSG). He will also receive a cover from Special Protection Group (SPG).
