PM Nawaz orders reduction in duration of load shedding

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed authorities concerned to reduce the duration of load shedding to 6-7 hours in urban areas. PM Nawaz issued these orders while chairing a high level meeting to review the energy crisis here on Wednesday. The premier said the current duration of load shedding is unacceptable. PM Nawaz also directed to resolve issues pertaining to fuel supplies to power house in three days time, adding fuel should be transported to power plants via Pakistan Railways.
