Was the 'missing' MH370 HIJACKED by Al-Qaeda?

Kuala Lumpur: At least 11 suspected Al-Qaeda terrorists were arrested in connection with Malaysia Airlines flight MH 370 on Saturday night. The alleged terrorists aged between 22 years and 55 years were held in Kuala Lumpur and are being interrogated in link to the missing jet. According to reports, the interrogation is being conducted with the militants after investigation agencies including FBI and MI6 asked for it. As per an officer from the counter-terrorism division of Malaysia Special Branch said 'The possibility that the plane was diverted by militants is still high on the list. International investigators have asked for a comprehensive report on this new terror group.' He further added 'Some of the suspects including students, a young widow and business professionals, had admitted to planning terror attacks in Malaysia.' The arrested suspects are said to be the members of a news terrorist group. The group linked to Al-Qaeda does not have a name so far. Also, they have not admitted any sort of involvement in connection to the disappearance of Malaysian jet. The Malaysian Airlines flight MH 370 went missing on March 8 after take-off from Kuala Lumpur. Flying to Beijing, it was carrying 239 people on boards including the crew member. All the angles including fuel leakage, engine failure, terror attack, technical fault were probed by the authorities. The investigation teams have been looking for the jet in the southern Indian Ocean for past several days now. Khalid Abu Bakar, the Malaysian police chief has denied that the 11 suspects held were being interrogated about the plane. He said 'The arrests had nothing to do with the missing flight.' A few days back, a Russian newspaper claimed that the Boeing was hijacked and taken to Afghanistan. Currently, the interrogation with 11 Al-Qaeda suspects is on.
