Justice on streets: Two alleged thieves tied to motorcycles, beaten and paraded naked in Goa

Panaji: In a shocking incident where furious mob took to delivering justice on the streets of Goa, two boys alleged to be thieves were tied to motorcycles, beaten brutally and forced to parade naked as a part of punishment for allegedly burgling mobile phones and others valuable of the foreign tourists, as per a news report published in NDTV. The boys were beaten mercilessly with wooden sticks on the road by the angry crowd. The incident was reported on May 22. A group of people caught hold of both the boys and interrogated them regarding their role in the series of burgalaries involving valuables of foreigners. Unable to find satisfactory response, the mob went berserk and started thrashing them. Thereafter, unidentified men took the two boys to some isolated destination and stripped them off their clothes and tied them to bikes. The Goa police has arrested the two boys in connection with the thefts and admitted them to a local hospital.
