Mumbai Shocker: Neighbour kills 7-yr-old girl as she sees him stealing money

Mumbai: Divakar Hazara, 30, finding his neighbour’s house empty entered into it with an intention to steal money. But when he was searching for money, 7-year-old Beauty Sarkar returned home. Caught red handed, Divakar got scared. He thought the girl would narrate the whole incident to her parents. He allegedly killed her. The accused Divakr then put her head inside a bucket full of water so that it would look as if the girl died because she could not breathe, police said. He then walked away with the money that he had found in the house. This incident happened in suburban Chembur, police said. According to Tilak Nagar Police, Hazara entered Beauty's house near the Noorani Masjid in Chembur when nobody was there and was searching for money. When Beauty's mother returned, she found her dead. The autopsy revealed that she had been strangulated, police said. Police picked up Hazara on suspicion and he confessed to the murder.
