Bangalore rape case: 2 gym instructors taken into custody, clean chit to skating teachers

Bangalore: The Bangalore Police on Tuesday arrested two gym instructors in connection to the rape case of 6-year-old in a school. However, the police has given clean chit to the skating teacher who was earlier arrested in the case. The complaint of rape has turned out to be a case of gangrape after the arrest of two more persons in the Vibgyor High School case, Police Commissioner MN Reddi said, reported PTI. A six-year-old girl was raped in the premises of Vibgyor High school in Bangalore. The incident took place in the school's gym during school hours. Two accused arrested in the case namely, Lal Giri and Wasim Pasha were arrested on Monday night. Both of them are the gym instructors in the Vibgyor High School. Both have been booked under section 376D of IPC and sections under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). This is the fourth arrest made by police in the case which is based on evidence of circumstances. earlier two skating instructors were taken into custody.
