Mumbai: Fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar was laid to rest in a special enclosure for the Kaskar family at Chandanwadi bada kabristan in Marine Lines, Mumbai at around 3am on Monday.
Sources told Dailybhaskar.com that the over a dozen intelligence sleuths were discreetly monitoring Parkar’s funeral procession.
The agencies were keeping a close watch on the activities of her kin and locate if any known faces from Dawood's family were present during the funeral. It is learnt that they were also on the lookout of several history sheeter.
"The procession which began from Gordon Hall her resident was over crowed as more than 4000 locals and well wishers of the family paid their last respects to Apa (Haseena) making it difficult for the police and agencies to trace out certain family members of Dawood," says a source who was present at the funeral.
Source further said, "The agencies were trying to locate the mobile phones and tablets which were taking the pictures and videos of the procession but as soon as Apa’s body was taken inside the Bada Kabristan, a human chain was formed, which made it difficult for outsiders to have a look at her final rites".

Another source said, "This was mainly done to restrict the surveillance agencies from intruding into the family privacy as the burial pictures and video were being streamed to unknown destination for Seth (Dawood) and his family to pay their last tributes".
Haseena Parkar or Haseena Apa, as she was popularly known as, allegedly ran a proxy business for her brother and Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim. Parkar is known to have been involved in several extortion rackets.
She was booked for a case of extortion in 2007, but was later granted bail.
Haseena was known as the “lady don of Nagpada”, where she lived through her life.
