READ HERE: Are intelligence agencies tracking Dawood Ibrahim through Facebook?

New Delhi: after the death of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s younger sister, Hasina Parkar, intelligence agencies are looking to scrounge for information on Facebook to track down one of the world’s dangerous men. Parkar’s funeral saw hoards pf people coming to pay their last respects at the famous Nagpada locality in Mumbai. It also saw the presence of police forces and various intelligence agencies as well. However, not having found any crucial lead with her death, intelligence agencies will go through the Facebook accounts of various Dawood family members. According to a report in Mid Day, intelligence officials are tracking the activities of Dawood’s daughter, Mahrukh and her husband, Junaid Miandad. Her father-in-law is Pakistani cricketer, Javed Miandad. Her earlier posts had given some headway to the agencies after she posted that she was missing everyone present in Karachi, including her father. Till 2010, all family members were active on Facebook, where they would exchange pictures, posts, etc. but as soon as they garnered attention in the media, all imeediate family members of Dawood deleted their profiles. Intelligence agencies are however hopeful of finding something substantial on the social networking site which would help in nabbing the underworld kingpin.
