Complaints filed against Aamir Khan for 'obscene' PK poster

Soon after the release of the first look of Aamir Khan’s upcoming film PK, a complaint was filed against the Bollywood superstar in an Indian court over the ‘obscene poster’. According to a report in the Times of India, first year LLB student Abhishek Bhargava filed a complaint in an Indore court against Aamir’s first look poster for the Rajkumar Hirani film PK. "In the poster of the film PK, which is slated for release on December 19, actor Aamir Khan has posed nude, which will promote obscenity in the society. Therefore, I have requested the court to register a case in the matter under relevant sections," the student told reporters In another report in Hindustan Times, advocate Manoj Kumar also filed a case in a Kanpur court against the promoters of the film, Aamir Khan, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani. Claiming that the poster was obscene, the advocate said it had hurt his sentiments. “When I received a copy of the newspaper I was shocked with the poster. [The] newspaper reaches crores of people including children and the elderly.”
