Pakistan wants good relations with US, India: spokesman

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesman Aizaz Chaudhry on Saturday said that Pakistan wanted to have good relations with all the countries including India and the United States. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif before the general election had clearly stated that Pakistan wants better relations with India and other regional countries besides peace in the region. Talking to Pakistan Television channel, he said that the visit of the prime minister to the United States would help resolve important issues. He said that Pakistan is confronted with many challenges like terrorism and drone attacks. He said that eliminating menace of terrorism would help maintain peace in the region. Replying to a question regarding the prime minister’s visit to the US, he said that the visit is very important and it would help strengthen the relations with the United States.
