'Chop Modi into pieces' remarks: Imran Masood's bail plea rejected, sent to 14 days judicial custody

Saharanpur: The bail plea of Congress candidate from Saharanpur and Modi's baiter Imran Masood has been cancelled by the Deoband Court. He has been sent to the judicial custody for 14 days. Imran Masood, was arrested from his residence in western Uttar Pradesh on Saturday for his 'chop Modi into pieces' comment in his speech. He remained defiant about his remark and said that he is willing to go to jail a 100 times for his 'kill Modi' remark. Masood was produced in the Deoband court today for his alleged hate Modi speech. According to media reports, Rahul Gandhi had called off his rally in Saharanpur which was to be held in the region on Saturday. Bjp will lodge a complaint against Masood’s comment to Election Commission. The party has collected the excerpts of Masood’s hate speech against Modi which will be sent to commission. An FIR was filed against him for violating the model code of conduct during the election period. The arrest was made around 4 am after a criminal case was registered against him yesterday. The video in which he was seen giving speech and threatening Modi of death went viral on the internet in a few minutes. Later he apologized for his comment and said that he meant he will teach him a lesson. The police received the CD containing Masood's comment of threatening Modi on Thursday. According to Masood, he spoke those words nearly 8 months ago while he was in samajwadi Party. Congress senior leader Digvijay Singh critized Masood's comment over Bjp's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. He stated that he should be punished for his comments.
