Advertisement THE ITALIAN JIBE: Narendra Modi asks 'Who let the two marines go back to Italy?'

Itanagar/New Delhi: Raising poll pitch in Arunachal Pradesh, Bhartiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi asked the incumbent Congress led UPA government that why it allowed the Italian marines, accused of killing India fishermen, to go back to their country with ease. Addressing a huge rally in the town, Modi indirectly took a dig at the Congress president asking “who was ruling Delhi, when the Italian marines were allowed to go back easily.” With this jibe at Sonia Gandhi, Gujarat Chief Minister was accusing the former of accusing a free escape for the reason she also shares the same nationality as them. Mocking Congress’ manifesto Modi said “Congress manifesto is a Dhokha Patra not a Ghoshna Patra” also asked Sonia Gandhi not to teach patriotism to the people of the country. Modi also accused the Congress of playing dirty politics and getting involved in trade of MLAs.
