Advertisement Terrorists open fire at civilians in J&K; one killed and three injured

Srinagar: One car was taken hostage by some anonymous gunmen in Kathua district on Friday morning, killing one occupant and injuring three others after opening fire, as per the latest police reports. The injured have been shifted to nearby Jammu Medical Hospital. The reports further disclose that the attackers were dressed in combat uniform and took control of the Mahindra Bolero (JK21A-7670) car at gunpoint on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway in Dayalachak area. The assailants fled the spot later. The vehicle is however intercepted by the police. Security forces have been put on alert and a hunt operation is still on, so as to nab the terrorists. Media reports further state that an exchange of fire is on at the Janglote Army camp.
