5 steps to a beautiful summer look

Looking fresh and energetic becomes so much more difficult during summers. Sweat pumps out all your energy and combined with dirt and grime, makes your skin look withered and dull. But, with a few tips and tricks, you can easily manage to look bright and radiant, even in sweltering summers: • Always carry a bottle of rosewater and dab it on your face when you enter from outside. It will cleanse your skin of all the dirt and sweat, and instantly add radiance to your face, apart from pepping up your mood. • Sustaining make-up is a big problem in summers. Make sure to use water-based products when getting ready for a summer party. Else, simply dab some loose powder on your face for an oil-free look and you’re ready to rock-n-roll. • Bright clothes are an essential ingredient of summer dressing. Therefore, it’s recommended that you go easy on the make-up bit. Peaches and pinks are the hot favourite during this season, but it’s important to wisely select one that suits your skin tone. Lighter pinks work best on women with pink or cool undertones, and warmer pinks complement women with yellow undertones. • Managing hair is also a problem during this weather. So, tying hair in a clean ponytail or French braid is a good option. Tied back hair will not only give you a clean look, but will enhance your facial features too. • If a slick ponytail seems too bland and French braids are too demanding a job, then simply tie your hair in an unkempt bun. Apply a shine serum to towel-dried hair and use your fingers to tie hair at the back, and lock them with hair pins. Voila! You’re ready to step out in the sun.
