CJ-designate emphasises greater harmony among national institutions

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice-designate Justice Nasirul Mulk on Friday emphasised the need for greater harmony among national institutions. He was speaking during a full court reference which was held in the honour of outgoing Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani in Islamabad. CJ Jillani said that institutions should work within their constitutional ambit and not interfere in the administrative matters of each other. CJ Jillani is scheduled to retire tomorrow from his service. All judges of the apex court, including senior lawyers, attended the full court reference. Chief Justice-designate Nasirul Mulk paid tributes to CJ Jillani for his meritorious services to uphold the rule of law and dispensation of justice. The new Chief Justice is expected to take oath of his office on Sunday.
